An item dated Paris the 2nd reported that
director Barthélemy and parliament members Lafond Ladebat, Larue, Barbé
Marbois, Berthelot Lavilleurnois, Ramel, Rovérem Pichegru, Aubry, Murinais,
Brottier, Tronçon
Ducondray, Willot, Dossonville and Bourbon all condemned to leave the country
came on board of the corvette la Vaillante at Rochefort which departed on 23
September towards open sea.(1)

1. This were members of the French Directory who tried
on 4 September that same year to seize power. Partly of them were deported to Cayenne. This event is
known as the Coup of 18 Fructidor, Year V.
