28 June reported hat the French corvette la Mouche captain Niclaas Défes
arrived after a voyage of 13 days. This privateer brought with her two American
merchant ships captured by her since she left the harbour
of Lisbon, Portugal. One ship had 17 casks
with silver on board with a value of 51.000 piasters destined for Bengal and on
the other underway towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies was found 42.000 piasters.
