British frigate Arethusa captured returning from the West Indies according to the Dutch newspaper from the Goudasche courant dated 29 September 1797

An item dated London the 19^th reported that general Ralph Abercrombie returned with the frigate Arethuse (1) from the West Indies. While homeward bound she captured a 22-gun French corvette and a Dutch West Indies ship with a value of 30.000 pounds.
