British frigate Arethusa captured returning from the West Indies according to the Dutch newspaper from the Goudasche courant dated 29 September 1797

An item dated London the 19th reported that general Ralph Abercrombie returned with the frigate Arethuse (1) from the West Indies. While homeward bound she captured a 22-gun French corvette and a Dutch West Indies ship with a value of 30.000 pounds.
