Spanish corvette Jan Ignacio de Loyola fitted out as privateer according to the Dutch newspaper Haagsche courant dated 25 October 1799

An item dated Santander 17 August reported the arrival a day earlier of the corvette Jan Ignacio de Loyola fitted out by the merchants of Saint Sebastian as privateer and merchant ship. Her captain was don Jacinto de Sacia. She sailed within 111 days from Lima and Guayaquil back to Santander. She departed from here on 22 December 1798 and arrived after 103 days at Callao. She was totally 8 months and 24 days away.
