Dutch screw steamship 1st class Zr.Ms. Zeeland departed Den Helder, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 16 June 1861

An item dated Vlissingen, Netherlands the 12th reported that the Dutch screw steam frigate Zr.Ms. Zeeland captain G. Fabius departed on the 11th the harbour towards the roads. The intention was to depart on the 15th.(1)

1. Screw steamship 1st class, built at the navy yard at Vlissingen, Netherlands 1856-1859, guard ship 1876, sold to be broken up 1884, dimensions 63,50 x 15,70 x 6,70 metres, displacement 3.300 tons, 51 guns, a crew numbering 500 men, horsepower 400 hp and a speed of 8 knots.
