Dutch East Indiaman Nieuw Vijvervreugd bound for the Dutch East Indies in 1744

She left on 13 May 1744 Rammekens, province Zealand, Netherlands with as captain Hendrik Bossen, visited Cape of Good Hope, South Africa between 14 September-1 Ocober and arrived at Batavia on 6 December. Her crew numbered 149 (arrival)-116 (departure) sailors and further more 18 (arrival)-75 (departure) soldiers. In 1746 exploded in the roads of Batavia. Also called Vijvervreugd, of the E.I.C.-chamber Zealand, on stocks by Hendrik Raas at E.I.C-yard at Middelburg, Netherlands on 22 October 1742, launched on 19 September 1743, dimensions 150 x ? x ?
