An item dated Berlin, Germany 1st September referred to
tidings received from St. Petersburg, Russia reporting that in England built
armoured battery Perwenez arrived on 18th August at Kronstadt where
she was to be completed especially dealing with the armour. She was fitted out
with 3 iron-made masts of which the fore mast had yards.
