Dutch submarine Hr.Ms. K XII underway from Egypt towards Yemen according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 11 November 1926

An item reported that the Dutch submarine Hr.Ms. K XII destined towards the Dutch East Indies arrived at Suez, Egypt and departed shortly afterwards towards Aden, Yemen.(1)

1. Laid down at the shipyard Fijenoord, Rotterdam, Netherlands on 9 January 1923 with yard number 295, launched on 15 July 1924, commissioned on 19 May 1925, decommissioned 0n 5 May 1944, handed over to the Australian navy, after the war sold an exhibited, when she was towed to another location stranded at Fairlight, in 1950 sold, stripped of useful parts, dismantled hull refloated on 7 January 1951 and broken up at Kerosene Bay.
