British expeditionary force fitted out towards Burma according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche staatscourant dated 3 June 1852

An item reported that the British government fitted out an expeditionary force of 6.000 military, 16-17 steamships all except for two armed, 4-5 transports, 1 ship of the line, 1-44 gun frigate and 1 brig of war.(1)
