German aged torpedo boats S 5 and 6 stricken according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1899-1900 no. 10

An item referred to the Mittheilungen reporting that the oldest German torpedo boats S5 end S6 were to be stricken. The hull of the S5 was to be used as a target and the hull of the S6 would be converted into a freshwater reservoir.
