Ventilation after coal bunkering ordered in British Channel Fleet according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1899-1900 no. 8

An item referred to the Mittheilungen reporting that the British Channel Fleet was ordered that after coal bunkering the coal holds during the first days during 3 hours were to be opened and ventilated. Later was ventilating two times a week sufficient.
