Australian navy base Flinders furtherexpanded according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1912-1913 no. 6

An item reported that at that moment a hundred men were working in the base at Flinders, which was a harbour south of Melbourne, Australia. On short notice was this number to be decreased to 300 men. The first barracks for 400 sailors was to be completed in the begin of next year to be followed by schools for gunners, torpedists and stokers. Further was the intention to station a floating dock.
