British built Russian transport Samojed completed according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1895 nr. 10

An item reported that on 9 July the Russian steam transport Samojed built by Thames Iron Works was launched. She was to be added to the Baltic Fleet.
