Italian submarine torpedoed merchant ships at Fiume, Hungary according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 14 February 1918

An item reported that Italian torpedo boats in the night of the 11th entered the Bay of Beccari at Fiume [Rijeka, Croatia] and torpedoed one of the largest steamships there lying.
