Italy wanted to built 12-28.000 ton dreadnoughts according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 8



An item reported that the Italian cabinet would hand over the parliament a naval shipbuilding program implicating the building of 12 super dreadnoughts before 1918. The first ship with a displacement of 28.000 ton, 8/10-38cm guns and 14-19cm guns was to be built at La Spezia, Italy.(1) This program was a reply on the French program.
