British cruisers watching Russian Baltic Fleet according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 4 November 1904

An item reported the passing by 4 Russian battleships of the entrance to the river Taag, Portugal. They were followed on a short distance by 4 British cruisers probably the ones commanded by admiral Walker. The newspaper Morning Post even wrote that the British squadrons would follow the Russian Baltic fleet during her whole voyage towards the Far East.(1)

1. The Russo-Japanese war between 8 February 1904-5 September 1905. The Russian Baltic fleet underway towards to the Far East destroyed some British fishery vessels believing it were Japanese torpedo boats. England was furious and threatened to pursuit the Russian fleet to the Far East.
