Japanese transport destroyed by Russian navy according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 21 June 1904

An item dated London, England reported that the Russian admiral Skrydloff telegraphed the tsar that 3 Japanese transports were destroyed. Furthermore was on the 16th the British collier Allanton seized which was underway from Hokkaido, Japan towards the south. She was sent to the prize court at Vladivostok.(1)
