R.U.S.I. dated May 1938 reporting that the Royal British Navy needed to increase the personnel strength continuously to be able to man the increasing number of ships. In the last year was the strength increased with 25%. Between January and September 1937 were 11.000 recruits engaged. There were problems to engage enough technical skilled personnel. In the meantime were the recruits offices and training institutes working at full power.
