An item referred to the Proceedings dated July 1938 reporting that within the Germany navy 14 motor torpedo boats were commissioned/. There were another five under construction with a displacement pf 62 tons and a length of 93 feet. Their machinery consisted of diesels or Daimler Benz machine delivering 2.400hp allowing a speed of 36-40 miles. Several boats of this type were also delivered to Turkey.
