An item reported that the new British battle cruiser HMS Queen Mary (1) completed her trials. The results were kept secret although it was known that during the 24 hours trial with a horsepower pf 55.000hp she exceeded the speed of 27 miles and that the 8hours trials was performed very successful. She was fitted out with turbines.
