British battleship HMS Caesar arrived at Christiania, Norway according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 23 November 1905


An item dated London, England 21st reported that the British battleship Caesar would represent the United Kingdom at the accession of king Hakon VII at Christiania [nowadays Oslo, Norway].(1)


1. Part of Majestic-class battleships, preceded by Renown, succeeded by Canopus-class, laid down by Portsmouth Dockyard on 25 March 1895, launched on 2 September 1896, completed in January 1898, commissioned on 13 January 1898, decommissioned on 23 April 1920 and sold to be broken up on 8 November 1921
