Bottomry for Italian bark ship Varrazze according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 18 June 1879ita

An announcement that with permission of the Italian consul in Amsterdam captain L. Bollo of the Italian bark ship Varrazze lying in the Oosterdok, Amsterdam asked for a bottomry of 2.000 pound sterling to pay three days after arrival in Cardiff. Tenders were to be handed over to the shipping agents Smits&Co. in Amsterdam.
