Portugal seizing German merchant ships according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 29 February 1916

An item reported that the German cabinet vigorous protested by the Portuguese cabinet about the seizure of German merchant ships in Portuguese harbours demanding that this seizure was undone.
