Dutch merchant ships Ruurlo and Groenlo sold to Finland according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 29 November 1932

An item referred to the newspaper Handelsblad reporting that the two eldest ships of the Dutch shipping company Stoomvaart Mij. Noordzee namely the Ruurlo (3.151 gross register tons, built 1915) and the Groenlo (1.969 gross register tons, built in 1926) were sold to the new Finnish shipping company N.V. Finska Frahtrederi Aktiebolaget at Helsingfors. Both ships were already Finnish registered and Finnish officers and sailors signed. The third ship of the Dutch shipping company the Boekelo (2.102 gross register tons, built 1930) remained Dutch property although it was feared that if the crisis continued, she also was to be sold to the Finnish company.
