British cabinet intended to start building battleships according to the Dutch newspaper De tribune dated 21 September 1921

An item reported that the British cabinet intended to start in March with the building of four new battleships.(1) Definitively was decided that neither Lloyd George (2) or Lord Curzon (3) would attend the disarmament conference at Washington, USA.(4)

1. The N3-class, preceded by the Revenge-class and succeeded by the Nelson-class with a displacement of around 49.300 tons and as main armament 3x3-45,7cm/18” guns. Never built die to the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922 limiting the building of battleships, their displacement and the calibre of the main guns.
