An item reported that the Dutch tug Afrika was sold by the Nederlandschen Stoomsleepdienst v/h P. Smit Jr. to L Smit&Co,’s Internationale Sleepdienst. She was built by the N.V. Machinefabriek en Scheepswerf from P. Smit Jr. in 1931. Horsepower 550ihp.
