An item reported that the usually homeport of the Soviet Danube fleet was usually Kychelau Harbour, Vienna XXVI, Austria, It consisted of 12-16 motor gunboats,2 command ships, 2 barrack ships and one fuel ship. In June were firing practises held between Kuchelau and the 1978 km mark.(1)
