London, 15 July. The 24-gun Tamar arrived from the West Indies after leaving Havana 8 June.(1) The former Mexican emperor Iturbide went 11 May at Antigua a harbour at a distance of 12 miles from Vera Cruz on board of the Rafflins and went escorted by the Tamar towards Genoa. The Tamar had on board 800.000 piasters and some sacks with cochineal and vanilla for account of some merchants.

1. A 26-gun 6th rate with a builders measurement of 451 tons and dimensions 108'x 31' was launched at Brindley, Frindsbury 23 March 1814, since March 1831 coal hulk and sold in March 1837.
