Nederlandsch-Amerikaansche Stoomvaart Maatschappij 'Holland-Amerika, as San Marino manager A.E. Nederlandsch-Amerikaansche Stoomvaart Maatschappij 'Holland-Amerika Lijn', Rotterdam, Netherlands since 7 November 1946, as Hongkong Manufacturer, manager Pacific Union Lines Ltd., Hong Kong, owner Overseas Maritime Company Inc., Monrovia, Liberia since 21 November 1960, as Hongkong Clipper same manager/owner since March 1961, manager Island Navigation Corporation Ltd (C.Y. Duch shipping company puchased Victory ships Polydorus and Plyphemus according to the Dutch newspaper De Nederlandsche transportcourant dated 7 November 1946

An item reported that on short notice two turbine propelled Victory ships bought by the Dutch cabinet from the USA were to arrrive in the Netherlands. The Polydorus and Polyphemus were operated by the Stoomvaart Mij. Oceaan on the lines West Europe-Indonesia and Java, Indonesia-New York, USA. Cruising speed 15,5 miles.
