Building of the Dutch bark ship Borneo and frigate ship Geertruida Maria build at Dordrecht, Netherlands according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 3 May 1841

At the yard Merwede at Dordrecht, Netherlands was 29 April by C. Gips en Zonen with success the frigate ship Geertruida Maria of around 600 lasten launched. She was built for account of Voogd en Comp. at Amsterdam and destined for the East Indies trade. As master was C. Spiegelberg appointed. Immediately after the launching was the keel laid down of the bark ship Borneo of around 400 lasten also destined for the East Indies trade.
