At Dunkirk were recently some whalers returned all with very worse catch results complaining that Davis Strait and the Baffin Bay more than was usually in the previous 20 or 30 years were glaciated. Not earlier as in September could men start with the hunt. Some French and foreign whalers were stuck in the ice.
