Spanish naval movements in South American waters according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 2 September 1820

Madrid, 17 August. According to a letter published in the newspaper Moniteur dated Cadiz 6 August arrived the frigate Primorosa Marina after a voyage of 125 days coming from Lima and Guayaquil. Her captain reported that when he left the harbour of Lima the corvette Sebastiana and two brigs of war stayed behind. The frigates Esmeralda and Venganza were underway to Guayaquil to join the la Pruba which latter however departed that port to go to Lima. Dealing with the Telmo was none news available.
