Designed by William Rennie although slightly changed by the yard, was she launched at the yard of A.&J. Inglis of Glasgow, Scotland in July 1869 for account of Thomas Baring, converted into a barque in 1878, served in the tea trade until 1880, and lost when she was during a gale driven ashore in the night of 29 March 1883 in the Cymyran Bay situated between Rhoscolyn and Rhosneigr, Anglesey. Her dimensions were 197.4’(hull) x 33 x 20’0” with a loading capacity of 883,87 tons.
