British frigate HMS Blonde transported body of dead king towards Hawaii according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 8 December 1825

London, 2 December. The body of king of the Sandwich Isles [Hawaii] Rhio Rhio arrived with a British frigate commanded by Lord Byron at Oahee. According to a story told by the American master Arthur of the Swift, which ship left Atooi 26 June, was the body directly after arrival brought to the house of the prime minister. Later was the final burial in a European manner. The government forbade the people to show the traditional way of open sadness.
