1st rate L’Aigle, homeport Brest, wood built, 4 guns, keel laid down at Cherbourg 16 September 1852, launched 17 September 1853, 200 hp engines constructed at Cherbourg, renamed l’Epervier 1858, wrecked 30 April 1858.

2nd rate L’Ariel, homeport Cherbourg, 2 guns, iron built, laid down at Toulon Januay 1847, launched 1 August 1848, 120 hp engines constructed by La Ciotat, last mentioned 1875.

1st rate Le Caton, homeport Brest, iron built, 4 guns, keel laid down at Toulon 20 June 1844, launched 1 May 1847, 260 hp engines from Le Creuzot, at the moment being fitted out, ast mentioned 1875.
