The strength of the navy of Danmark in 1849

For years was in the Netherlands a magazine published dealing with maritime affairs. It published in 1849 a quite small news item, originally published in the Dutch newspaper  Haerlemsche Courant, dated 3 March 1849. According to the item was the Danish navy reorganised and strengthened. Excluded the armed steamboats and gun sloops, were 1 ship of the line, 5 frigates, 4 corvettes and some brigs available for sea duty.
