The Danish fleet numbered according to an official announcement on 1 January 1856 one ship of the line, 8 frigates, 11 corvettes, 5 brigs and 73 smaller units. Since 1700 she lost caused by being captured, wrecked and so on 63 ships including 28 ships of the line, 24 frigates, 1 corvette and 10 brigs.(1)
