Sale of 1/32 part in Dutch whaler Jonge Francois on a public auction on Monday 27 January 1766 in the Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement at Amsterdam according to the Dutch magazine De Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius of January 1766
To be sold by the brokers V. de Vries and T. Beth Ysbrands one 1/32 part in the whaler Jonge Francois and equipment, fluytship, with as last commandeur Willem van der Schee, newly fitted out in 1734, dimensions 114½’ x 29’6”x 12’4½” and height deck 7’, destined for Greenland with 6-7 launches was to be sold with the fitting out to be paid by the buyer.
