Spanish troop transport Isla de Luzon left Santiago according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Tuesday 16 August 1898

An item reported that according to a tiding from Washington general Shafter signalled that the transport Isla de Luzon departed last Sunday Santiago with on board 2,193 Spanish troops.(1)
