USA and Soviet Union agreed returning leased warships according to the Dutch newspaper De Waarheid dated 23 April 1955

According to an item dated Washington 22 April announced American authorities that the negotiations with the Soviet Union dealing with the return of the leased 62 warships were successful. The ships were to hand over at Kiel.
