In an small note (1) I already mentioned the presence of woman within the Soviet Navy. According to a tiding from Moscow were three female volunteers engaged as sailors by the squadron lying at Leningrad. It were female workers of Leningrad. The intention was to engage a large number of women to service in the administration and the naval kitchen service.
