Dutch freighters Bawean and Boeroe sold according to the Dutch newspaper Het Centrum dated 5 October 1926

An item reported that the freighters Bawean (1) and Boeroe (2) both built in 1914 and together measuring 13,021 gross tons were sold by the Dutch shipping company Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland to the Dutch shipping company Nederlandsche Scheepvaart Maatschappij.

1. s.s. Bawean, launched on Tuesday 9 June 1914 at the shipyard of William Hamilton&Co. Port Glasgow, Scotland with yard number 297. of 6,479 gross tons and as dimensions 420 x 54.5 feet.
