An item dated Hellevoetsluis dated 24 January reported that the Dutch merchant ship Rotterdams Welvaren master A. Schaap underway from Rotterdam, Netherlands towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies grounded on the 20^th sailing from Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands towards sea off the point of Scheelhoek. With high tide and the aid of a pilot schuyt came she lose and anchored she safely.
