Tug Constantinople exploded according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 21 September 1899

An item Constantinople 18 September reported that the tug Constantinonos exploded and sunk when she was assisting a steamship leaving the port of Pera. All five crewmember drowned.
