An item reported that on 4 November at Hellevoetsluis a detachment of 50 men arrived commanded by 2nd lieutenant A.M.J. van Asperen sent from Cape of Good Hope towards England and from there to Rotterdam. The men belonged to the crew of the Dutch transport Zr.Ms. Prins Willem Frederik Hendrik and which could return home caused to being damaged. She was to be sold at Cape of Good Hope. The resting crew members, inventory and cargo were to be transported by another Dutch warship.(1)
The edition dated Thursday 28 May 1857 reported that last Saturday at Hellevoetsluis the Dutch merchant ship De Vier Gebroeders master C. Vonck arrived coming via Cape of Good Hope from Batavia with on board 1st lieutenant H. Schokker, 2nd lieutenant J.W. Frucht and the 2nd officer of administration F.J. Broers all belonging to the etat major of the transport Zr.Ms. Prins Willem Frederik Hendrik which ship was condemned at Capetown.

1. The edition dated 20 September 1856 published a tiding dated Nieuwediep the 16th that her daily arrival was expected coming back from the Dutch East Indies under command of 2nd lieutenant J.W.F. Frucht. Built in 1821 at Middelburg, Netherlands with as dimensions 33,70 x 9,14 x 3,80 metres and an armament of 8 guns.
