US naval program and huge budget approved according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra Post dated 19 March 1938

An item dated Washington 17 March reported that the US House of Representatives approved with 287 against 57 votes a naval shipbuilding program with a budget of 274.000.000 US dollars.
