The newspaper Algemeen Dagblad dated 8 March 1856 published an item dated Joure 5 March that the same day with success the copper tightened brig Libra of crica 175 roggelasten build by S. Geerts&Zoon was launched for Anes&van Dam in Rotterdam with captain G. van Os. See further the website http://www.scheepsindex.nl/schip.php?i=9165 which reported that she was built in 1856 at the shipyard of Symen Geerts in Joure and that she was sold in 1883 to be broken up.
