An announcement reported that the fast newly coppered 400 tons clipper brig ship Rio de la Plata captain P. Remmers was to depart Rotterdam on very short notice directly towards Surabaja. For more details could be asked at shipbrokers Vroege&De Wijs. The edition dated 11 May published another announcement. She was still lying in the Leuvehaven in Rotterdam with as closing date 15 May.(1)
