Dutch frigate ship Amstelstroom bound for Batavia and Surabaya according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 29 September 1869

An announcement reported that the Dutch campagne frigate ship Amstelstroom captain S.W.F. Kretschmer was lying in Amsterdam destined towards Batavia and Surabaya. On board was a skilled doctor and a milk cow. Well passenger accommodation available. For more details could be asked at the owner F.A. Jas and shipbrokers De Vries&Co. at Amsterdam.(1)
