Soviet Union disagreed with England about rebuilding the German navy according to the Dutch newspaper Amigoe di Curacao dated 23 February 1951

An item reported that the official Soviet navy magazine accused England of rebuilding the German navy to serve US aggressive targets. The British occupation authorities created navy units with German crews. Bevin (1) asked his American collegae for permission of the building of submarines for Germany in Hamburg. Germany was able to built submarines superior to what other Westeuropean countries build again according to the same Bevin.
